I know that it is very disappointing and I am sorry for all the people who spent money in this store but if we don’t do anything they will continue doing whatever they do for so many years. I have already complained about them in the police station, in the CITY and also in BBB. Hopefully they will investigate. If no, I have heard that in Verdugo Job center there are some people who also investigate these kinds of cases. If they don’t help, Channel 2 and Channel 9 also investigate these kinds of cases and we can even file a small claim since I have my receipts. Most probably all of the positive reviews are written by the owners or by the lucky customers whom they were afraid to lie because whoever I say that I used to shop from Allegra they all respond that Allegra sells fake gold and fake diamonds.My husband and I have bought 4 rings and 1 pair of earrings from Allegra jewelry during last 5 years and all of the items were supposed to be 14K, and the stones were supposed to be diamonds. However, a few days ago I found out that one of the rings is 10K, and the other one is not even gold and on the third one some of the stones are not diamonds. When we went to the store the owners refused to solve the problem and told us that “The receipts that you are showing are not these rings’ receipts, we can replace or refund only if you bring the right receipt.” Now I understand that they can say that about any receipt since they don’t write anything specific in the receipt about the sold item. ...read more
