I don't even know where to start. Anyone giving this place more than one star (because I had to so I could give a review) is an employee or family member telling hugh LIES. These are the most unprofessional people I have ever had the misfortune of running across. Please stay clear. They will never return your calls. Every month you will have a new case worker who dosen't have a clue what is going on. I had to do all the work myself. After finding out our next step was to see a judge, something that could take up to 6-12 months. (mind you I have already been waiting 21/2 years. One of the case workers informed me I could write a hardship letter to the judge to see if we could get it expedited. OMG are you kidding me. Why am I just now being told there was something I could do to hurry this process along. I wrote the letter my case worker emailed the judge and almost one month later I had a hearing date. We get to the hearing and we have no idea where are attorney is. There are a few people in the waiting area and we are just hoping he or she shows up. After being there 15 minutes a young man barely looked out of high school who had been in the waiting area the whole time called out our name. Nothing surprises me at this point. We had to bring our own medical records because these nonprofessionals never paid the hospital to receive them. Luckily we won our case but it was not due to this company doing there job. Stay clear. There is enough stress with the situation at hand you do not need outside stresses. Do the work yourself it is not that hard and maybe my experience can help some else. I hope so. Good luck and God bless. ...read more

Criminal Immigration Lawyer USA Speaks on Whether You Should Hide

Having a criminal record when a person is a non-citizen has become a cause of worry for most non-citizens since President Trump took charge of the oval office. So, it’s not a surprise that most non-citizens prefer to hide a brush with the law. Renowned Criminal Immigration Lawyer USA, Mr. George W. Abbes recently spoke about whether hiding such a blip in a person’s clean record from a person’s spouse is advisable or not. Talking about the reasons why people prefer to hire a brush with the law, Mr. Abbes said “Most of the people who hide such crucial information from the spouses are afraid what their spouse of think of them if the past mistakes were revealed. Some of them just don’t remember the incident or are trying to avoid that it’s there. Some even just hide it because they are embarrassed.” Stressing that honesty is the best policy as far as a brush with the law is concerned Mr. Abbes said “You must be truthful with your spouse when you are starting off any kind of legal procedure. It is for your own benefit because if the record comes up in the proceedings, your spouse may be too angry with you or may decide not to support you mid-way through the process because you lied to him/her.” Explaining thelegal proceduresin which utmost transparency is required Mr. Abbes said: “If you have opted for a legal procedure in which spousal support is really needed, you should never hide any of the facts.” Citing an example, Mr. Abbes said “If you are applying for a green card, the questions related to your arrest will come up during the immigration interview. If you have hidden the arrest record from your husband/wife, he or she may fail to react in an appropriate manner and it may hamper your chances of a citizenship. In some cases, even the interviewer may even question the authenticity of your marriage which would do irrevocable damage to your case.” Elaborating the legal procedure a lawyer has to follow if a person has kept secrets, Mr. Abbes said “If you want to keep your arrest a secret from your spouse (which is not recommended), you should be smart and tell your lawyer about it. Acriminal immigration lawyer USAwill need to make it clear to your spouse that the lawyer is only representing you in the case. For this, the lawyer will need you alone sign a G-28 form while your spouse will need to sign some form of statement acknowledging that he/she is not the client which might prove to be tricky if your spouse doesn’t know why he or she is asked to sign any such document.” Concluding the discussion, Mr. Abbes said “It is always advisable that you don’t hide things from your spouse because the legal proceedings may reveal the truth at any time and do more harm to your marriage than it would have done if you told the truth yourself. Also, you will need to tell the truth in most cases because it’s hard to find a criminal immigration lawyer USA who hides the information as most lawyers prefer not to keep secrets, especially in cases like green card application for practical as well as ethical reasons.” ...read more

Why do Students Need Immigration Lawyer in California, USA

No one could have imagined a time when students would feel the need to hire an immigration lawyer in California, USA or any other part of the nation. But unfortunately, such a time has arrived because the ICE has started to target high school students now.   Recently, the immigration authorities took a 19 year old high school student into custody, just a few hours before his senior prom. Diego Ismael Puma Macancela is the name of that student and he is a citizen of Ecuador. He was arrested at his cousin's home in Ossining and he is now held at a federal detention center pending deportation and removal. His deportation order was signed by an immigration judge in November 2016. His mother was also arrested soon before his arrest.   The family is now taking help of legal counsel to ensure that the kid is at least allowed to finish the high school during next few weeks. The family had also contacted a New York-based immigrants’ rights group and the group is working hard to ensure that he gets a way to stay in this country until he graduates from high school. His family is heartbroken with the arrest and his school community is also deeply impacted. His supporters have also started an online petition on his behalf.   If you are a student who is not sure about his or her immigrant status then you should contact a skilled lawyer like Mr. George W. Abbes to save you from deportation and removal. If you are a parent of a high-school student and you are arrested then you should ask your kids to contact a lawyer in your locality like an Immigration Lawyer in California, USA rather than fleeing from their home. It’s also a wise option to hire a lawyer before you are threatened to ensure maximum protection from the ICE.     Thank you George Abbes The Law of Abbes Abbeslaw.com 714-534-1400       ...read more
