My husband and I recently bought a mattress from The Sleep Retreat, which is the name Fashion Furniture gave its mattress store right next to their main store. The customer service is very professional and first rate. They were very knowledgeable and patient as my husband and I tried out the entire inventory. They did not follow us around the store hovering over us. They allowed us space to try each one and were there promptly once we had questions. They carry quality, high end inventory, but we found their prices better than other stores carrying the same product. We ended up buying an Air loom Luxury Latex bed named "Copenhagen”. These mattresses are not cheap, but in this case, you do get what you pay for. Top rate quality of both workmanship and materials. With a 20 year warranty, 10 years non-prorated, you can't go wrong. Tahoe Windchimes ... a successful merchant!
While I was at the Auburn Home Show last weekend I stopped and talked to Al from Tahoe Windchimes, one of our long-time merchants. Once I introduced myself (I am still a newbie!), he explained how successful our past March show was for him. He has staked his claim on an outside booth for many years. This year one of the 4 major TV stations interviewed him on the Friday before our show. We had all four major Central Valley television stations at the Fresno Fairgrounds on the opening day of our show! Al explained it was like the customers saw the interview and immediately jumped in the car and headed to the show! He said that the response was amazing and his sales were through the roof. Advertising and marketing works - for us at Fresno Shows, we believe in spending over 200K in advertising/marketing to ensure that our merchants get qualified customers - which turns into sales! Auburn Home and Garden Show - Success!
We visited the Auburn Home and Garden Show this past weekend. Although very hot, the show is so amazing. You can definitely spend the whole day wandering around the beautiful grounds and talking to all the merchants ... they are so friendly even in 100+ degree weather! I saw many of our customers .... it is good to see familiar faces and meet new potential customers. Fresno is a surprising market... The best part of greeting new merchants is telling them about the Fresno area market - fastest growing area, upscale suburbs to old town agriculture community - the area has it all.
