Carlos is very unprofessional and rude. I can't believe he is still in business. I sent in a fax request to have a sign put up at one of my listings (with proof that it was sent successfully) and after a week, no sign. Called him on the phone and left a kind message to see where the status was on the sign. Received a phone call that was very unprofessional and rude. He started off yelling at me and stating that I am "wasting his time." Without even listening to what I have to say, he was yelling the whole time. I don't know what I did to even deserve his rudeness and attitude. As a professional Realtor, if I have clients who call about status, I do what I can to answer and help them. Carlos on the other hand is a person who has zero customer service. If there was a zero rating, that is what he would deserve. Before I go to far I have to admit I made a mistake on my order, and will own up for part of the issue. When I called Carlos (owner) and let him know that I needed my sign back, he told me to quit wasting his time. I then asked him how can I get my sign back or could he drop it off. He told me no way and that I should quit wasting his time. He gave me his address, but since he was on a speaker phone, and there was a lot of background noise, I really could not make out what he was saying. I asked him to repeat himself a couple of times, and stated that I could not hear him. At that point he told me "to shut my mouth" . I did go by his place and at his directions that the sign would be in front of his house for 3 days. I got there and the sign was not there. I was assured by his wife that he would drop it off at my house. After two days I still did not have my sign and when I contacted Carlos I was told it was at his house, and he would keep it there for 3 days before he put it in his warehouse. He refused to deliver the sign back to me, and informed me that he had signs from Realtors going back at least 20 years. He seemed proud of the fact. He also told me he would gladly put my sign up on another listing but doubted that I would ever get another one. The next day I did get two listings and placed an order to have my sign placed, but used someone else for the other sign. Since that time I have placed 3 more signs and all with another vendor. Carlos has a wide following within the Real Estate industry, and yet I have yet to talk to anyone who is overly happy with him. He does his job, but has zero personal skills. As a professional Real Estate agent I cannot risk the chance that Carlos will explode on one of my clients. As of now I will not use Sign Systems for any of my further dealings. I will not personally make any negative remarks about Carlos or his business but will gladly refer the business to other vendors who actually put their customers first. As I do. ...read more
