Arrived at Folsom Tap House 1-23-2016. Was seated by hostess giving us menus that stated UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP. Greeted by a very nice brunette waitress, ordered our beers and food. Waitress told us to hang on to beer menu as this is normal protocol for education and anticipation of next selection. As I was reading beer menu the owner (blonde lady) was seating another group, walked up to our table and attempted to grab menu from my hand. I pulled away, and she said she needed to take the menu. I stated no, I am reading it. She pulled menu from my hand and handed it to the group. Minutes later she came back with another menu, I told her that was extremely rude, obviously there were other menus in the room. She stated (well this is how we do it here), and walked away. Maybe it's the movie posters and the music. Probably it's the food. I really like going to this restaurant. It's diner food but it's good diner food. The wait staff has always been super nice to me. I go here at least every other week and they are consistent. ...read more
