This was by far the best office that I ever visited for my eyecare needs. Having been to 10+ optometrists over the many years I have finally found a home. I saw Dr. Aaseby and he was amazing. He and the staff made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I am confused about what the previous poster said. I was charged what any legal practice would charge, according to my insurance. I guess his insurance was terrible. I have VSP and my wife has Eyemed, giving me double coverage, and their optican worked with me finding the best way to save me money. They worked to keep money in my pocket while providing me with the best possible eye care. I recommend this place to anyone!!! ...read more

be cautious on their add-on charges particularly for new patient. insist on asking question regarding validity of additional ""evaluation exam"" in addition to your VSP coverage. if it does not make sense , search for another office. I am sure EDH and the sorrounding commuties have other professional practices. I went with Costco's optometry in the Folsom store and find their cost, service with top excellence. The office staff is very professional and my new Eye Doctor was very thorough. you can even get a trial pair on the same day. their office is small but takes time with their patient. of course, appts are neccesary as any qualified eye professionals. ...read more
