When we bought there in June 2000 space rent was $535 per month. We had gradual increases for 5 years. On Jan1,2006 space rent increased from $625 per month to $935. A group of us hired an attorney and filed suit. Rancho Mesa is owned by MHC, a nationwide mobilehome communities corp, which has lawyers for fighting lawsuits. They drug it out in court for a few years until we all went bankrupt and left. When we left it was our understanding that a new resident has to sign a five year lease for $1100.00 per month. Over the past week I have called numerous times and have gotten an answer machine and have left a message twice reguarding the house for rent on Shenandoah. I never received a return call. Not real sure I would list my rental property with this organization. ...read more
