Projector123

I rented a projectior from Projector123.com for my daughter's 15th birthday this past weekend, September 1. The projector was delivered by FedEx on the Friday before at around 1:00pm. That evening, we attempted to setup the projector with our DVD player to see if we could get it to work. We followed the very limited directions sent with the projector. We were unable to get a movie to show, just a blue screen. We contacted technical support as stated on the directions if there was any problem with the setup of the projector. We had to leave a voicemail for someone to contact us back. Within 45 minutes to an hour, we got a call back from technical support. They attempted to troubleshoot several reasons why our projector wasn't working, but unfortunately, the final resolution was that the projector was not working properly. Since it was 5:30pm, PST, the technical support person stated that it was too late to ship out another projector overnight and all we could do is just call the company on Tuesday and request a refund. No attempt at all to offer anymore solution to our very grave predicatment. Thankfully, we were able to locate a friend who graciously lend us her projector for the party or my daughter's party would have been a total washout. My husband calls customer support on Tuesday, September 4, to discuss with them our issue we had with the projector and request the refund. The customer support person stated that they were not able to authorize an email, but would turn over the case to their supervisor and contact us back within two hours. Two hours went by and no return call. My husband calls back and request to speak to a supervisor to which he was transferred to voicemail. After three more calls with no results, he makes one last call and is told by the original person he spoike to that she will go ahead and give him a refund of our monies. The same person who originally told us she wasn't authorized to perform this action. My biggest issueswith the company is 1.) the projector was obviously not checked to see if operating properly before being sent out to the customer, 2.) the difficulty in receiving a refund of our monies for a non-working projector, 3.) THE BIGGEST COMPLAINT--never once did we receive an apology for the hardship they placed upon us for a non-working projector. The company showed no concern about the fact that their equipment wasn't operating or checked to ensure that the projector would work before it was sent out to the customer. I definitely will never use this company nor will I ever recommend them to anyone!!!! ...read more

I visited kincos in culver city as I have always done. I started at the information booth to get the info on double sided color copies and the promo sale. I also asked if it would be cheaper if I did it myself on self serve computers, the answer was no. Elizabeth helped me in the back. She began by needing my name and phone number to "give me a quote" on only 200 copies that cost .98 cents. I could figure that out on my fingers. Well she had a calculator and quoted me $400 dollars. I could not believe her. I told her that her numbers were wrong. I guess she was upset because I was very uneasy about giving her my name and number just to get 200 color copies. Well I corrected her on her little incorrect quote. I guess she really got upset. She then rudely gave me the correct price after playing with her her little calculator again. She told me it will be ready in 6 hours for 200 color copies. That's ridiculous. Again, she was already uptset about the phone number thing and the price correction. I left. I went to Office Max. The price was .88 cents. I saved $20.00 and it was ready in about 10 minute. I called to complain to the manager, David, at Kincos he said that old line, "I'm sorry that that happened", "however, we can't always complete customer requests at that time". As if that had anything to do with my complaint about the person that he was suppose to be supervising. He acted as if this was his personal friend. The ridiculous 6 hour wait was the minor issue. It was everything else that his subordinate had done to run off a customer. It's not her store. When I told her that I will go somewhere else, she sarcastically said OK. Like she's paying bills for Kincos, and they don't need my business. Well they have certainly lost my business and as a result of Kincos staff, I found a better place for my small business printing, as well as the other three medical agencies that I Direct. \t\n\t\nBad Business Kincos ...read more
