Bear basin Outfitters is run by thieves. As I write this review I am on the phone with my credit card company disputing a $1,750 charge because (after 6 weeks) they won't deliver the riflescope or issue a refund. They have repeatedly asked me to accept a cheaper product than what I originally ordered. It's a bait and switch. There is always some excuse and they will never return a call. Save your money. The people are very nice and helpful here, and the Dr. was very efficient and made my eye exam easy to deal with. The only one thing I wish was different there, when I ordered my glasses/contacts, the first quote was very high (even though I said I did have a plan) When I said I was going to check around, the woman said that they could give me a lower price. Now by checking online later, I see that I could have had my initial consultation for 20.00 less, and that I could have saved another 10% with my AARP card - I wasn't told this while attempting to find out the best way to make a purchase. For Seniors, those little extras matter a great deal. I also didn't think their options for the SALE glasses were good at all, very old fashioned. Because of the service I will probably go back - but I will keep other options open too since I need the best price, particularly in this recession! ...read more
