They tell you that your insurance is fully covers procedure to go ahead with it, then send you a huge bill for $3,577. I had 4 IUI with dr. Dinsay, NONE of them worked! She is incompetent, office staff is unprofessional. Save your money and time and go elswhere where they know what they doing. ...read more

She is an excellent doctor. She is a good listener and answered my questions to my satisfaction. She never promised 100% success even when I asked her. I am very happy that I succeeded in first cycle. I never found a person who would work free. I would pay her fee again if I want other child. I had not so good experience from one of her staff member or I would give her 5 stars. Don't hesitate to see her. ...read more

What to expect with Obamacare

The election is over and the Affordable Care Act is front and center! Barack Obama has won a second term as President of the United States and the Affordable Care Act (“ACA”) is back on a fast track.  There’s been considerable analysis of the ACA and talk of a possible modification to reduce spending by the federal government as a part of a wider deficit deal, but nothing is concrete as this time.  What we do know is that this law will have a huge effect on individuals, businesses and health care providers (like doctors and hospitals).   Portions of the ACA have been phased in slowly, with many others occurring in 2014. Here are a couple of questions and answers, as they relate to the Affordable Care Act: Neither myself nor my family members have health insurance. When the law goes into effect in 2014, will I have to buy insurance?  What will happen if I don’t? Currently there is no requirement that you must have health insurance. But beginning in 2014, most people will have to have insurance or they will be forced to pay a fine. For individuals, the penalty would begin at $95 a year, or up to 1% of income, whichever is more, and rise to $695, or 2.5% of income, by 2016.  For families the penalty would be $2,085 or 2.5 percent of household income, whichever is more. There have been 11 states that have passed legislation to block the requirement to carry health insurance, but those provisions do not override federal law.  We can expect to see states bringing their cases to the Federal Supreme Court to challenge the requirement to carry insurance.   I am able to get my health insurance at work and want to keep the plan I have now. Can I do that? Will my plan be changed because of the ACA? If you currently receive insurance through your work, you’ll more than likely be able to keep that same plan.  Keep in mind that your employer doesn’t have to keep the plan that you have now and can change co-pays, premiums, deductibles and network coverage.  Take the time to compare the plans that are offered by your employer to see how an increased deductible or higher premiums will affect your family.   The cost of prescriptions seems to keep increasing.  I’ve even been forced to not pick up a prescription because of the high cost.  What can be done? Prescription abandonment is an increasing crisis in healthcare.  Approximately 20-27% of first-fill prescriptions are never picked up due to cost.  To help individuals and families combat the rising cost of medication, you can immediately print out a free prescription discount card.  Start saving up to 50% on your costs right away.  There’s no obligation to purchase anything.  I just want to help people save money on the prescriptions they need to get and stay healthy.  Please visit http://cherylhess.awisfreerx.com to print out your card immediately. ...read more

It can all change in a moment

Look around you and what do you see?  For me, because I work from home, I see the people that are closest to my heart: my husband and three children.  Yes, I see our furniture, our electronics, and the photos on the wall.  Those are the things that we’ve accumulated over the years.  More importantly, I see the memories that my family and I have created.  The echo of laughter shared with each other.  The stories that we’ve told around the dinner table.  The tears that we’ve shared as we’ve faced disappointments and loss.  The experiences that we’ve shared that have brought us closer together. In a world where everything has to be bigger, faster and newer, I am perfectly content with what I have because I know that “things” aren’t going to make me happy.  What makes me happy is the excitement that my children share with me as they’re telling me about their day at school.  It’s the pride that I feel as a parent when our children overcome the odds and accomplish what they never thought they could.  It’s the time spent around our fire pit in the evenings, remembering funny events that have happened to us.  Things don’t make memories.  People make memories with you. Take a look around you.  What you have could be gone in a moment.  An earthquake.  A tornado.  A tropical storm.  Any of those things, and more, could completely change your life.  Take a moment to really appreciate those that are close to you.  And if there are people that you wish you were closer with, please take the time to reach out to them.  As a home business owner, I understand the amount of work that is required to be successful.  With that same thought in mind, I also understand that my husband and my family are the reasons that I am doing what I’m doing.  They are the center of my world and I cherish every moment we have together.  Give your husband or wife an extra hug and kiss tonight.  Tuck your children into bed and sit next to them and ask them what the best part of their day was.  Share with them how much you love them.  Pick up the phone and call your family members that you haven’t spoken with in a while.  It can all change in a minute, so take advantage of each moment you have. ...read more

Don't just build a team - LEAD it!

So often I’ll hear people talking about how they’re building their team.  They’re advertising like crazy, writing their blogs and presenting their business opportunity where ever possible.  They are focused on the money that will come along with having a large team and to them it’s all about the numbers and the money that goes along with those numbers.  They are so focused on building their team that they’ll neglect to take the time to actually lead their team. A common theme that I hear when I’m talking with someone that’s interested in my Xpress Healthcare business and joining my team (http://cherylhess.joinxpress.com/business.html) is that they were in another business and they didn’t get any training or support.  They just were expected to learn everything on their own and figure out what to do themselves.  They were just another faceless person on a team.  Money in someone else’s pocket and nothing more.  Businesses are based on people.  Why does that simple fact get forgotten?  Is there such a drive to get more and more people that we forget to take the time to nurture the team we already have? I learned early on that leading by example speaks volumes.  It’s one thing to talk about something, but are you actually doing it?  My philosophy is that if I don’t take the time to teach my team, to inspire my team, to motivate my team then I’m not going to have a successful team.  My team is my family.  If they need something, I am the one that they should come to for help.  As a team leader, I enjoy helping people.  Some may be on my team and some may not – but they’ll all get my attention and assistance.  The time you spend mentoring a team member is crucial for their success, as well as your own.  Training leads to increased confidence.  That confidence will lead to them going out (even beyond their comfort level) and reaching new goals.  When your team members start building their own teams, they’ll take the manner in which they were guided and taught and pass that on to their team members.  You can see the pattern that’s evolving and it’s a powerful one.  And it started with their team leader. Building a business is not just a numbers game because there are people involved.  No one likes to feel like they are on their own.  It’s frustrating to have your own business and not know how to do something and then even more frustrating to not be able to get the help you need.  Take the time to lead your team and be someone that others know they can depend on.  You’ll find that your team will be more successful and in turn, you will be more successful as well. ...read more
