This place is totally criminal. Don't expect your deposit back. The owner promised me a prorated refund for my last month if which I only used 2days. I rented a truck and hired movers in the 100 degree July heat do that I could be out before the deadline on the 5th. On the 3rd the manager/owner (total liar & thief) recanted and blamed me for paying the months rent. He then claimed he couldn't prorate the month because I paid the bill, promptly and on time as expected. He then blAmed my phone connection. He said he got dis connected and had to use caller I'd to even figure out who he promised a prorated refund to. When I asked why he didn't call me back and explain he had given me false information -since he obviously gave me the info and looked me up.... He said don't call this number anymore and hung up on me. I live in reading now. He used the caller of to hide from my further phone calls and forced the to drive back to Chico to get my deposit. He refused to answer my calls. We tried several different phones. He ignored any calls from that area code. Furthermore, he actually charged my credit card for the final month. That's right -he stole my money. I'm talking to the BBB and my credit card company to reverse the charge. Do NOT rent from this place. There's no security. They have been broken into before. That's why they require renters insurance on their units. Not to mention the rotten egg/sulfite stench from the refinery or whatever next door. You will be chocking on rotten egg/sulfur stench as you sweat to meet a deadline that he will chage you for regardless. I found this place unfriendly, unclean (nails and screws everywhere -had to remove 3 different screws from tires after only trips. ) unprofessional and completely dishonest. Bottom line: we rushed out to get a refund we weren't -ever going to receive. He charged our card -illegally and stole our months rent and basically laughed and challenged me to try and stop him. This type if business is insanely profitable. (Especially when you steal from your clients) people in tie situation are broke and desperate. This facility will take advantage of you however it can and flat out steal your money if they can't find another way to take advantage of you. The woman that answered the phone was friendly and really accommodating. She stayed after hours to rent to us, lent us her dolly, and gave us extended access for the night so that we wouldn't get stuck inside when the gate closed. She even came out to check on our progress at 9:00pm! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone, and we'll be renting here in the future for sure!! ...read more
