I've been dealing with acne for over 12 years, have been to several dermatologists, tried a multitude of acne products including Accutane on three separate occasions. I was very hesitant when I went for my consult at 916SKIN, but it was very different from anything I had ever tried in the past. Tatja took her time with me and made an active effort to figure out what was causing my acne. Between the treatments and changing my diet, my skin started to clear within 8 weeks. After 4 months of treatment my skin was completely clear. After about a year of treatments my scarring was gone too! I have seen many people in the past for my adult acne (dermatologists and estheticians) and have only had marginal results. It wasn't until Tatja started treating me that my acne really started to turn around. Not only were her treatments very effective , but she took the extra time to explain what causes acne and the things that I am doing to contribute to my acne (food allergy testing and nutrition). I went to 916 Acne Clinic after trying numerous rounds of Accutane. I really wasn't sure about this place, since I had been to so many dermatologists already, and even the strongest medication for acne didn't work, but the doctor was hot so I figured what the hell - I'll give it a try. The first six weeks I noticed a little improvement, but was ready to bail on the progream because I wasn't getting the result I wanted. She kept telling me to be patient, "results take time" - that kinda stuff, so I stuck it out. Two weeks later my skin started getting really clear, and from there on out it just got better and better. I still can't believe how good my skin looks. Before when I caught people looking at me, I knew they were looking at my acne . Now when I catch people looking at me, I know they're totally checkin' me out because my skin looks so good.
