I took in quite a varied assortment of jewelry a few months ago. I had been selling gold a few pieces at a time on a couple different websites. I had done quite alot of research and thus knew what a fair market price was for gold at that time. I had some vintage estate costume pieces as well as 14 and 18kt. gold rings with stones. I had quite a few pieces in all. I would say 20-30 pieces of jewelry total.Perry offered me 400.00 for ALL of it. Well, I knew the melt down weight of a few of the rings was worth at least that or more. He didn't weigh anything..just made the offer. When he finally did weigh the rings he turned his back to me. Told me I wouldn't get anything for much of it. Long story short: he is currently selling one of my rings w/ a stone that he told me"was of no particular value" for 3800.00..he gave me 600.00 for 4 rings all set in 14kt. gold and all w/ stones....carefully planning my next step.... ...read more

I don't believe in perfection, thus 4 stars. I visited this shop for years, and always in awe of the assortment of inventory of any kind having to do with dolls.
