My husband has been accused of owing a doctor money by your organization for more than a year ago. Ironically, this appointmentwent occured in January 2005 and the account was allegedly turned over to Gess in almost 3 years after he had seen the doctor, yet we had received no billing from the doctor in the in those ensuing years. I asked Frank to provide me with copies of the statements that the doctor had supposidly sent us in the 3 years that they had awaited the $191.00 but Frank said that it was impossible as they did not keep such records...in other words this "credit collection agency" does NOT ask the original billing agency to provide them with any form of proof that they even attempted to bill anyone in the first place. So, they have NO evidence, thus WE have NO evidence that we were EVER billed from this provider EVER. Couldn't this happen to anyone? Couldn't some "credit collection agency" just decide to bill anyone amount? I found out it was an insurance billing error. Oop ...read more
