My wife and I went to Joe Escobar to have a new custom wedding band designed after multiple attempts to correct the original design from a jeweler in Denver (a year and a half horrible experience). After talking with them, we decided the best course of action was to start over again. We ordered a custom ring from Verragio and it arrived exactly when promised. It was absolutely gorgeous (much much better than the custom ring attempt in Denver). After that we worked with the staff (especially Ryan) and he was extremely helpful and understood exactly what we wanted. From there he worked with the jeweler that would make the ring. We went in and approved the preliminary wax which was exactly what we had discussed. From there they completed the ring and it matched perfectly to the engagement ring. My wife is so happy! The rings were more expenisive than the previous verison, but the quality of the work and the custom service was well worth it. They even have a Holiday Party for their customers which is catered (great food) and they have representatives from many of the custom jewelers that they have on display. ...read more

The owner, Bill Rowe, was horribly rude! He evidently has something against shopping for wedding shoes at his store, although this is not posted anywhere. He simply turned his back and said "I can't help you. You can leave now." I know this man, personally, from dances I have attended and I thought he was kidding so I said, "you are kidding aren't you?" He said, "No, you can leave now", and walked away. I have spoken with several other people, since then, who have had similar experiences and will not set foot in this store again. ME EITHER! ...read more
