All I have to mention is the fact there was a rubber band in the first salsa bowl we got serverd last Tuesday and unknown objects in the second bowl. We had to go dine elsewhere. I have yet to hear back from the regional manager after sending them an e-mail. I guess the bottom line is - eat at you own risk... ...read more

I do not understand why this place gets the business they do. Because they are nearby, I've given them four chances in the last three years - multiple attempts to try to figure out why it has not been shut down. The place looks so old and feels so filthy I would expect to see a cockroach running by while I was there. I Never did though. For such an old rundown looking place, you would think there must be *something* appealing about it. I must say that every visit was consistent. the wait staff has been ok. They give you a huge plate of food. Even the kids meals are huge. The food is terrible. So all you are getting is a lot of terrible food. Fried foods are really greasy. There is nothing tasty about most of the food. It's what I would expect out of an old diner in the middle of the desert in Arizona. The salads are wilted. The cooked vegetables taste like they are from a can. I even asked the waitress one time if they were from a can. She so they were not. If that's true then they must murder the vegetables. The green beans are dark green and mushy. Yuck! But here is the surprising part. The bill is about what I would expect to pay at the Cheesecake Factory, which has WAY better food, service and looks much nicer and newer. I don't get it. Why do people eat there? Policemen seem to enjoy the place. There are always police cars parked out front. If it was my choice, I would have the place torn down and replaced with something nicer. I brought my kids there one night and there was an old German guy and a Jewish guy eating together. He was cursing and swearing at the German guy for what they did in WWII. Then the Jewish guy would sob from time to time. It was like two nut cases right out of the insane asylum. I finally had to move to another table so the kids would not hear all the swearing and have to witness this really strange event. Then, I got the $50 dollar bill for the three of us and that was the night I swore I would never eat there again. Burbank did a great thing by bringing in Porto's. They need to do the same with this place. Tear it down and put in something more palatable. Summary: old place, bad food, expensive, ok service. ...read more

Burbank Bar & Grille

Totally my kind of spot..... A group of close friends came here to celebrate a welcome home. We started the evening out on the gigantic balcony having 2 app sampler platters full of everyone's favorite fried goodies and seafoods topped off with a couple of martinis. At this point, I was like OK, this place is alright but its 11 o clock at night, I'm not drunk yet, and I'm not having much fun for a celebratory evening. Well that's until we went inside....they had one of the best cover bands I have ever heard in my very long 24 years. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN. Dancing and jumping around to everything from Weezer, Smashmouth, Justin Timberlake, maroon 5, even a share of popular hip hop and grunge rock, you name it- they can sing it. HOW awesome, I didn't want to leave at the end of the night. The delicious long islands probably helped out with my good time too... ...read more

We stopped by with a friend for drinks and dinner and couldn't have been happier. The service was fast, friendly and attentive. While nominally a "Sports Bar", the TV's and crowd was not overbearing. The food was good - nothing to crow about, but it was definitely good and for once we didn't have to send anything back to the kitchen for being cooked wrong, or tasting bad, which is rare indeed in this day and age. The great bonus for us is the fact that they participate in the United Airlines Mileage program, which is always a nice bonus. We will continue to go back to BBG and highly recommend others to do the same. Check their website for "Theme" nights, too - like Karaoke (if you are into that!). ...read more

I have been to tons of buffets and unlimited mimosas for Sunday Brunch but this restaurant by far is the best! Amazing view, you can sit outside or next to the window. The service is terrific, everyone is very attentive and then food quality is alot better than the ones Ive been too which remain nameless lol. I first went back in March for a brunch for my friends birthday and decided I would go back this past Sunday for my own birthday! I had a blast!! I hear they have Martini Mondays, might have to look into that! =) ...read more

Perfect spot to watch the games! I've been to a bunch of sports bars in the valley, but this place is PERFECT! There are a ton of flat screens all around the restaurant and they even put a huge screen on the stage to watch as well! Not even to mention the Happy Hour prices!! Such a steal! Get there early though, because this place packs out! BBG has such a unique cozy feel. On the nights you aren't watching a game, there's always a really chill acoustic singer on the patio. This place made me a regular! ...read more

This month, I took my wife here to celebrate our 16th anniversary. We went there on a Saturday night and arrived at 9:15. We were charged a cover but it was totally worth it! As always, I forgot to make a reservation. Nevertheless, we were quickly seated inside surrounded by a perfect temperature. We started our night with a spinach dip appetizer , continued on to our main dishes (I had steak and she had pasta), and finally finished with a delicious "banana foster". The food was SUCCULENT! (definitely my favorite part!). By the time we finished eating, the band had started playing 70's music and we quickly got up to dance. The band was lively and very entertaining. We had a delightful evening: starting from the friendly young lady charging the cover to time we left the building, where we were amiably wished a good night. THANK YOU "Burbank Bar and Grille" for an unforgettable anniversary! ...read more
