I would like to cancel the open dates with your office out of the following reasons. I asked your office now 3 times to provide me with your opinion what the reasons are for my chronic pain. I couldn't have been happier with Dr. Eppley. I had a full ACL tear, MCL tear and meniscus tear. Dr. Eppley was fully aware of all up-to-date techniques, had a great bedside manner and was extremely efficient. He spent time talking to me and making me feel comfortable. My meniscus tear was unknown until my surgery and he repaired it instead of removing the damage in an attempt to minimize long-term damage. His office is extremely friendly and I particularly was happy with his PA, Gaye DeRusso. She spent the time to explain every part of what was going to happen for the surgery, answered my questions and alleviated any concern I had. By the time I got to the surgery, there were no surprises and Cal Orthopedics was great. The anesthesiologist kept me talking as I was getting getting prepped for surgery so I was comfortable and the next thing I remember was waking up. The care for my pre and post op was great. Dr. Eppley has worked on my knee twice in the last ten years. In total, I've had 6 knee surgeries and when asked I always say Dr. Eppley is the best doctor I've ever had--I feel he educated me about knee health, maintaining longevity of my knees, and non-surgical approaches to increasing mobility while lowering pain. His entire staff, especially the wonderful Gaye DeRusso PA-C, provide a highly professional and caring experience.
