Fresh & Green
Fresh&Green; makes it cool to be Eco Friendly. Before entering their store I knew a little about being Green, but after a tour and some Eco Friendly 101 basics I’m convinced that Green is the way to go. You wouldn’t believe the products they carry and how they’re been recycled. Where does someone get the idea to use Elephant Dung as paper? My favorite items were the solar panel backpacks, used to recharge cell phones, computers, etc.; and the bamboo towels. Fresh&Green is the center of all things Eco Friendly, even building a home. They have everything you need to live Green. Fresh & Green is located at 7737 Meany St. Suite B3. ...read more

Getting to know Kalai
I started my dance troupe as a way to share my love for God (Akua) and dancing (Hula). I love to design and create the costumes. My dance troupe is a family (Ohana). I am THE MOMMA! (HULILAU!) and I have a house of instruction (halau). The little ones call me Ms. Kalai, The adults...friend, the teenagers...wellthey are teenagers, and unerneath all the squabbling they know my home is a safe place to expand their horizions. I love them all and they love me. I do this not because I love more stress in my life, but because it gives me a different outlet than the very precise civil engineering I do all week to pay the bills. I have over 25 performers/fire dancers/technicians that work for me and alot of personalities. A 1/3 7-13, a 1/3 14-19, and the rest over 20. Please visit my web site atwww.polynesianparadise-Kalai.com go to video page to see samples of my dance troupe. Call 661-325-7469 or 661-865-7322 when your ready to book a Luau (date and time needed). We usually book 2 monthes in advance... 6 months for special occasions like Quinceanera, sweet 16, or the big 50 especially if you want fire dancers. I have booked 2 years in advance for a wedding. We do everything from aHulagram to Large Luau. Mini Hulagram at a Park, School, or any public place is 5-10 minutes is $50. Regular Hulagram 15-20 minutes right in your back yard runs $125 except on the coveted Saturday night during summer months which is $200. Small Luau 25 minutes is $320. Medium Luau 35 minutes is $360, and Large Luau 45 minutes is $400. All Luau Performances have audience participation which can add 10-15 minutes on to any Luau. The quoted prices are for 2008 and may change without notice. Looking forward to performing at your next Luau. Aloha Kalai ...read more
