I submitted a review this morning and I want to appologize. I had heard that the number in the listing was discontinued and like the rest felt we had been scammed. I want to say I am so sorry for writing the earlier review saying Eric of Traditioncare Funeral Services had run off with our family's money of $2,000 which is what we feared after not being able to reach anyone. My father passed away this morning so we called Traditioncare as my mother had paid them $2,000 in March for his burial. The phone number has been disconnected! This person Eric Neiman has stollen what little money she had. We will press charges today and hopefully he will be stopped before he takes another elderly person for their money. by Daughter of the Deceased 05/10/2011 When my father died I searched the internet for a cremation service close to where he lived and also to find an affordable price. I ended up using Tradition Care and was very satisfied with the price and initial conversations with the director there. However my opinion has changed dramatically as we continued our relationship over the next month to obtain death certificates. Tradition Care has accepted our money for these certificates, however they have not produced them. The company no longer takes our calls about the missing certificates, nor do they answer emails. Without this important document all bank accounts, trust accounts, and everything else is frozen and unavailable for the family to pay bills etc. If we had known that this was going to happen we could have easily ordered them ourselves from Contra Costa Recorders office and had them over 2 weeks ago.
