Great selection and prices. There's the positive aspect of Tyler's.
The negative; The repair shop staff have no idea what they are doing. I took my Stihl brush cutter to them. I left it there to see of they could figure out why it wouldn't start. I got a phone call the next day; "You have a seized engine. The walls of the cylinder are scored and it will cost you $350+ to repair it". I asked, "Are you sure that's the problem". Obviously affronted by the question (How dare I question his authority!), he angrily said, "This is what I do and that is the problem!" I picked up the trimmer and took it somewhere else (Coll's in Jaffrey). Ends up that it was gunk in the carburetor; a simple and inexpensive repair. Now it starts and runs well. Did the "pro" at Tyler's even do a basic compression test ? I think not. I think he was hoping I would buy a new one from him!
Moral of the story: If it's working, don't take it to Tyler's. If it isn't, take it to Coll's or anywhere else!

The people here are very knowlegable about the machines they sell. They have trained technicians who can diagnose and fix most problems I have thrown at them. Imagine! The machine I bought was put together and running correctly when I left! Try that at a box store.

Absolutely horrible, they were very rude, and very insulting when I was purchasing parts for my chainsaw, and the insults were personal attacks I didn't even know these people..You can get better service with less insults at the tractor supply store in milford!!
