The birthing center is close to the hospital. My friends baby girl is alive because of the midwives quick actions and accurate judgements. They are not afraid to call 911 in an emergency. If you are planning a birth center birth please chose Treasure Valley Midwives over The Baby Place in Meridian... my child died at the Baby Place because they are anti-hospital and did not act quickly enough in an emergency. They also had me transfered an additional 20mins from Meridian to St Lukes downtown by ambulance while my child was dying. The only good I can get out of what happened is being able to tell others and hopefully save another childs life.
