I arrived at the dealership, spoke with the person I had talked to on the phone and he quickly brought the car around. After the required copy of my license had been made, he handed me the keys, walked to the car with me, showed me where the adjustments were and said come back in 15 to 20 minutes.

Finally I said, a dealer who just lets you go out and drive a car without trying to come up with things to talk about, and explain cheesy little features about a car that don't really matter. The way I look at it, he also then had 20 more minutes in his office to do follow up and other work that he needed to get done. Its a truely win win situation.

After I drove the car, he came out and asked what I liked best, and I said I'll take it but i'm not sure about the color. Drove around back to the lot, looked at the other ones they had, picked out the one I liked and made note of it.

Went inside, drew up the contract, no upsells, no tatics, signed everything and drove away same day
