Rude AND Incompetent

I went here for Canadian passport photos after the ones I had taken elsewhere caused my application to be rejected because of a glare on the forehead. The requirements for Can. passport photos are very specific & rigid and I wanted to explain to him what I needed before he took them, because I just couldn't risk the photos being rejected again, but he wouldn't listen. He was unfriendly & impatient & acted like he knew it all. He took the photos, printed them, & they were worse than the ones that had been rejected-the head was too big, they were overexposed, and there was an even bigger glare on the forehead.(I don't make the rules!) I pointed out that the glare was exactly what I had tried to warn him about. He just didn't care. He said he couldn't (wouldn't is more like it) do them again or try to fix them, & was very nasty.I made a special trip for nothing. Why act like you know what you're doing, cutting a customer off from talking, when you don't? Rude, arrogant, AND incompetent!

RUDE AND INCOMPETENT

I went here to get Canadian passport photos done after the ones I had done elsewhere caused my application to be sent back to me (the photos were rejected because they said there was a glare on my forehead.) The requirements for Canadian photos are rigid - it's not my fault, that's just the way it is - the face has to be a very specific measurement, you can't smile, the lighting has to be absolutely uniform, etc.etc. or they will reject them. I called first and was told they did them, so I made a special trip there to have them redone. But when I tried to explain to the guy what I needed (I had the other photos with me so he could see what had been rejected) he brushed me off. He wouldn't let me explain what the requirements were and what my concerns were.He acted like he knew it all.So we took the photo and he printed it out. It was WORSE than the one that had been rejected (overexposed, which is a giant no-no for those photos!) the head was too big, and there was an even bigger glare on my forehead!I was shocked, since he had acted like he knew exactly what was required. I pointed out the glare and reminded him that that was exactly what I had asked him to avoid, since it was the reason the photos were rejected before. He said there was nothing he could do. The long and the short of it was he just didn't care and was unwilling to do anything differently. His attitude was "well, too bad if you don't like it, that's all I can do." He was rude, condescending and unfriendly from the start, and incompetent to boot. If he wasn't able or willing to try to take a photo the way I, the customer, needed it - fine, but he should a)not act like he knows it all, when clearly he doesn't and b) at least LISTEN to the customer- have the courtesy to let them explain what they are looking for or need at the outset, instead of steamrolling over them and dismissing them from the outset. That is just unbelievably bad customer service and a terrible way to run a business. But passport photos don't cost much, so obviously he doesn't care if he offends someone seeking them. He probably wouldn't be that way with someone looking for wedding photos or some big job. But a good business person will treat EVERY customer with respect and decency. AVOID THIS PLACE.
