Red Sled Motel

STAY ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE! We booked the room in a blizzard and alerted the owner we were driving from CT to VT. We were told it would be $68, but was charged $81. ($3 each for the phone and internet; I was told when I questioned the total.) I was then told “The heat is on and the room is warm.” COMPLETE LIAR! After driving for hours in a massive snow storm and calling 2 times to say I'd be later, at 11 pm we enter a room that is 50 degrees! It took at least an hour to warm up a little. To get warm I got into the bed and was greeted by a huge, dead black fly between the sheets! The next morning (the room was still not even close to a comfortable temperature), I go to take a hot shower and NO HOT WATER!! After taking a cold rinse (with no soap, shampoo and stained towels), I wait 2 hours for a plow to come. 9 am came and passed (Stratton Mtn. opens at 8am) so we had to push/ dig ourselves out by hand! The owner also yelled at me when I called to complain. AWFUL!!!
