What a disappointnment
A Very, Very disappointing return visit! I ordered a seafood dish and asked for it mild, because in the past, mild meant still really hot. It took 20 minutes to get my food, which is okay if it's busy and the food is worth the wait, but that wasn't the case. There was only one other customer. First thing I noticed was the plate didn't look appetizing. I looked around at what seafood was in there, well 4-5 small shrimp, not at all fresh looking or tasting. There was a lot of mushrooms and baby octopus that was all torn up, not fresh. There was a bunch of shrimp paste dumped in. I found a hair in my food and lost my appetite. I put my napkin on my plate and pushed it away. The waiter came over and asked how it was. I told him not good. He didn't care. He went to the register, charged me almost 16.00? I left no tip, because the service and food was terrible. What a waste of time....

I love Thai food, and this is my favorite Thai restaurant. If I want decor then I go to Basil Thai in Lincoln, a truly beautiful setting. But Pattaya has better food, and is much more centrally located. If you are vegetarian, their tofu dishes are excellent. The food is healthy, and will awake your tastebuds. Don't go there if you just want to pig out. Order mild if you are not sure about the heat level, since this can't be measured. I usually order medium, but my wife wife gets mild and she claims she likes hot food.\t\nParking is occasionally inconvenient, but is easily overcome. I always order take-out, and the food is always fresh and waiting for me. As others have noted, for some reason it is very difficult to locate this place, even though it is right on Watt Ave, north of 80. It's tucked away in a strip mall, just south of A Street, in North Highlands.

This is a hole in the wall place but it is so freaking good. Do not take a date here. Instead pick up the food and take it home and serve it. My mother is Thai so I'm soooooo picky about Thai food and this place is so yummy, delicious, fantastic, Gooood fooood.
