Park Place Management is known for running your property to the ground

Park Place Management is the worst property management company in the valley! They don't feel they should manage onsite issues; parking or noise complaints. The property needed 2 intercoms and they spent our whole budget on 1 intercome, never using the bids that the owners got but their own contacts, the best part is they have been using our funds to pay AT&T for lines that go no where for the 2nd intercome they never ordered. They misplace HOA payments on several occassions and charge you late fees, they will stop you from working on your own property stating you need to have workers compensation for spraying insects around your front door, so they can charge you to use their people... yet all their repair people don't even speak English and repairs are mickey-mouse jobs that don't last. They don't return calls unless it's your 5th call. They will nickel and dime you until your pockets are empty, you never see it go back into your property. They dropped the ball on filing a lien on a forcosed unit, because they don't feel they need to pick up the phone to call any of the board of directors. They feel they are their own boss with your HOA money. Hiring them was the worst decision ever made! We had a meeting and voted on letting them go (they were present) but they said they were not fired unless they had a 30 day notice which we sent and no one has contacted us letting us know when we will get our funds back/files. If I had to do it again I would not go for the cheaper company, instead ask what building they manage so I could be the judge if they are a good company or not... instead if I saw decrepit and falling apart properties then I know that's not the company I want to do business with. I hope this helps anyone that has the task in hiring a management company.
