I rented a wheelchair from here for a week to be used on a three day outing in L.A. (Disneyland, etc), for my visiting family, and to be used for local sightseeing.Once up in L.A. and using the wheelchair for the first time, the chair proved to be defective and totally useless. Substitute chairs had to be rented at the venues visited for a much higher cost.When my family came back after the three days I returned the chair to Palomar. Because the chair was useless from the start I asked for a total refund. I was told by Palomar that no refund would be given because I should have returned the chair immediately for a replacement
