Keisha at Citysearch

Sorry Salesman/Customer Service

Hello everyone,My name is Keisha.\t\nTo whom it may concern; \t\nYeasterday which was Tuesday,July 20th,2009 I walked into this particular store at 7:09pm knowing they closed at eight. However,I knew that there were two different phones I wanted to buy.One saleman was assisting a lady who was just getting the same Blackberry she had but a different color and was going over the different accessories they had to offer because there was a 20% off sale if you buy 2 or more and she was trying to decide what she wanted and and how many. There was an older 45-55ish salesman that was assisting obviously a new Blackberry customer who was teaching her everything from A-Z about the phone. He did walk over to me one time after I had waited for about ten to fifteen minutes while she was viewing the icons and such on the Blackberry.I asked if he had a demo in the back of the Touch Pro 2 because that was my first choice that I really wanted, with the new Palm Pre being my second choice. He asked me what type of phone do I currently have and I told him a Blackberry Curve 8330 and he closed the slide out keyboard on the Touch Pro then put it behind the desk and said "You don't want that phone." When I asked why, he said that phone is more for people who need a laptop that doesn't have one or need it when their away from their laptop which is why it is a windows phone.I said "Okay, would the next best thing to my Blackberry be the new new Palm Pre,since I wanted a touch phone and slide out keyboard?" And he said "Yes,if I were to go from a Blackberry, which I currently have, I would go with the Palm Pre since you're wanting a touch phone,go over and play with it for a bit while I finish with this customer." I had already played around with it,but to make time pass quicker I went back to it with my 5 year old and let her touch the screen and so on and then sit back down.\t\n\t\nFinally,he's still attending to the same customer and basically showing her how to do every single thing one could possibly learn to do and she's asking every question there is to ask.So my daughter and I continue to sit and finally she leaves at exactly five minutes before 8pm.I walk over to him and say "Okay I do want to go ahead and buy the new Palm Pre.His response to me was,"We actually close in five minutes and it will take me about an hour to get you set up,could you come back tomorrow morning when we open?" I could not believe after waiting that long he asks me to come back tomorrow when I would have had enough time to make it to another Sprint store and had the phone.\t\n\t\nI've always thought as long as you were there before the store closes(which I was there long before closing time just waiting)that you would still be able to get what you came for.Apparently, not at this store.\t\n\t\nMy family along with my husbands workers that are on our account (4 phones total) have been with Sprint for years and I would never tell or advise anyone to visit this store even to look around due to how that specific salesman did me.Furthermore, I wouldn't go back to that store for anything, even if I was offered a free phone from that store on Ballantyne Commons Parkway.\t\nTherefore,the only reason I gave this store one star is because I wasn't able to publish my comments if I didn't rate it...but it doesn't even deserve one star or even a half of one.
