Miss Jeris Sewing Alterations & Repair

I went to drop off a dress for an event, three days prior, the one dress she said was too complicated...so I went with the dress that needed a simple hem. I had her drop it off to a friend, we even did the try on the dress with the correct shoes and pin it in place scenario. My friend paid the bill of THIRTY DOLLARS! for a simple hem....no taking apart nothing. It was ironed, which was nice but I didnt ask for that.....I was charged 30 dollars, 20 of it to iron and hem, the other 10 for a RUSH FEE that was not discussed.....guess what, I went to try it on the day of the event trusting it was hemmed....and indeed it was NOT! I literally paid this lady 30 dollars to not even hem my dress just iron it! Completely upset someone would do that to me......my other seamstress of course fixed it (she was out of town the week of the event) and I was charged 7.00......and even if I asked to iron it which I never do sometimes she does just to be nice for free.....even a laundry mat wouldnt charge 30 dollars. and if you were going to charge that at least HEM MY DRESSS! Not lie to me and ruin the event I had bought it for!

I am still sewing after 11 years at my sewing room..great return clientele...eye for detail...creative..designer since teen / Mc Call's Fashion Board Award Winner/submitted 2012/ casual/ formal/ bridal/household / we do the complicated things that others say can not be done/ it is my God gift!/creativity at it's best..

Wow, yes yes, this is the place to have your alterations,repairs, and just good company while your there. Im from alabama and I defently would recommend Miss Jeri to anyone out here. She has a very nice sewing room for you and a mirror to fit perfection. So inviting and such great spirit to feel so welcome and blessed by her prence.. Thanks so much for all your hard work and your beautiful,friendly smile..
