Our parent company, McElroy Metal, began manufacturing metal building components in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1963. The first Metal Mart location was opened in Austin, Texas in 1985 as a retail outlet, open to the public. Grown to over 40 locations in 6 states attributed to the combination of great customers, great products, and great employees. Our sales personnel are experienced, knowledgeable and prepared to help from start to finish on any project. Metal Mart carries an extensive in-stock inventory and manufacture about 55% of products sold.
