DO NOT STAY HERE...

Over the weekend I checked into this motel. The room I was given had no sheets on the bed and a cicada in the middle of it. The room was in total disarray. I asked for another room and the manager was upset at me. It was a late hour and he obviously did not want to be bothered with my request. I stayed in the room and checked out the next day before checkout time and let the man at the front desk know that I was unhappy with the way I was treated. I grabbed the business card of the manager and left. On Monday I noticed an extra charge of 125.00 on my bill. They tried to say that I was smoking in the room even though I am a non smoker and didn't even have a lighter on my person. The Assistant manager was rude who I spoke too and I barely got the corporate number. All they would do is say they would have Mr. J.R. Ernst call me back. That has not happened. I called him directly at his personal number and no call to myself was returned. Not only that I was given rude service. I was robbed of my money off my credit card. I am a Veteran of this country and have stayed in 3rd world countries with better rooms, service and billing practices then this establishment.

Great Place and Close to Great Dining

We loved our stay and when we are back in the area we will stay at the same Holiday Inn. The hotel is right down the street from one of the best restaurant we have ever eaten in, Woodys Steak house. We will be back.
