I rarely write reviews, but wanted to provide one for this tax preparer. I was referred to DJP from a family member who had a good working relationship with this company. During my appointment, the preparer made me feel confident that she was knowledgeable with out-of-state paperwork (I live in PA, but filed in NY). However, after a few weeks, I received notice from the city and state that the deductions and paperwork submitted were unacceptable and that I would need additional documentation and proof. At that point, getting in touch with this preparer became very difficult and practically non-existent. Ultimately, I was forced to have someone else review the paperwork that DJP orginally submitted because of her unprofessionalism and lack of contact. I would not recommend this tax preparer, which is unfortunate to say because she was a nice person.
