Colorado Orthodontics/All About Braces

This orthodontist?s office has no heart. Money, money, money? that?s what they care about. Shortly after getting braces put on my son I was laid off from my job. Insurance paid the initial payments and I made my 50% payment with FSA funds. All was fine until I found out that they continue to collect money from the insurance company over the total treatment time. Thus, I was able to extent COBRA insurance to pay for the treatment ? at least this is what I thought. The office started to push for payment when the insurance company did not show that I was active in their system. They were aware that I was unemployed and paying COBRA ? thus they would be getting paid through Humana. Needless to say, Humana has not updated their systems to show that I am properly covered and Colorado Orthodontics continues to push for payment stating that, ?You can pay now and when we get paid from the insurance company, we will reimburse you later.? Do they care that I am unemployed? Do they care that it is Humana who is at fault? Do they have a heart? NO, NO, and NO. I will not take my next two children to Colorado Orthodontics and I urge anyone looking for an office that has heart and understanding to look elsewhere.
