Briarwood Apartments

For the past 7 years,this was the worst aparmtent renting experience I ever had. After few weeks I moved into briarwood, I was suffered from bed bugs and due to this problem I prohibited from working at my company for two weeks, of course I got no paid for that period of time. After I reported the pest problem to the leasing office, they doubted that I'm the person who brought the pest into the apartment... They told me to do nothing before the exterminators come, and it took few days for them to come to treat. I was not able to go out for work so I was stuck in my room for two weeks!!!Later, after the exterminators came, they found there were atually 3 rooms located in my building was having the bed bug problems! Also I requested repairs for my room, I reported 3 times of bathroom floor soaking wet problems. After two times fixed, it got worse, so I had to reported the problem for the third time, and they still doubted that the problem may due to I didn't have a shower curtain or I put my shower curtain outside of my bathtub. Finally i decided to move out from the apartment, they told me if i move out because of the pest problems you are not gonna get rid of this problem because this is Michigan, these bugs are common.... Spare me, I lived in Michigan for 4 years and a half I had never encoutered pest problems before! And of course, I did use shower curtains and also curtain liners!

The walls crack all the time when the heater is turned on. Loud cracks. The stoves and refrigerators are old, almost antiques. They won't remodel apartments of older tenants. Air conditioner is not central air. Its only on one room.

Can't choose own cable network. You have to use their cable. Streets flood every time it rains. Bottom apartments flood.
