We purchased a WinterWarm Fireplace Insert and even had it moved from our previous address to our current home. It is the best way to heat! It keeps you toasty while you're in the family room and the upstairs bedrooms are not too warm (perfect for sleeping). It relieves the two zone heat pumps of much of their burden during the winter. We order a couple true cords of wood and keep it going round the clock for months, with breaks for emptying ashes of course. Bodmers is a wonderful store to do business with! Get names of installers and chimney sweeps from them because they know who is capable of installing, moving and cleaning your chimney.
