Red Bank, , May 24, 2011: Where do design trends come from?  What are the major influences this year in home fashions?  What’s the next direction for interiors?  These questions and more will be answered when Sally Morse, the internationally recognized interior designer, TV personality and author presents a “Trends in Design&Color;” program on Thursday evening, July 14th at the Window Treats showroom located at in Red Bank. The $15 ticket price includes the seminar and a wine reception which will begin at 6 p.m. All proceeds from this event will benefit 180 Turning Lives Around –the non-profit organization dedicated to ending domestic and sexual violence within the community.  Using her ‘toolbox’ of  information culled from the major European design shows – including Maison Objet, Heimtextil, Decosit,  and La Biennel – Ms. Morse will take you on a visual ‘tour’ of this year’s top trends in styles, fabrics, colors, furnishings and accessories and show how they can be adapted for the American market and homeowner. Whether you’re remodeling or moving to a new home, Sally’s tips will be a helpful guide in planning your decorating ‘journey’.

A frequent guest on HGTV, Ms. Morse’s work has been featured in Women’s Day, Better Homes and Gardens and Windows&Walls, and she recently co-authored a book on window coverings.  She has written many articles on interior design, colors and trends as well as sales and marketing pieces for many major design publications.  Her “Ask Sally” column  on the Hunter Douglas website is one of the most popular decorating advice columns on the internet today.
