1. Keep your hair up. Before you start sweating, put your hair in a loose braid wrapped into a bun. This will keep your hair off your neck, and if you had a light workout, leave the bun in while you shower—you'll have soft waves when you take your hair down. If you're going for full-on cardio, slick it back into a bun. Dry shampoo can also work wonders. (We like Sachajuan's Volume Powder.)

2. Save your skin. To prevent pore clogging, take off all your makeup—Dermalogica's special cleansing gel for a quick method. After the sweat session, cold water and non-greasy products like mineral powder foundation can help rid you of any blotches.

3. Don't overdo it. You'll probably have a nice flush when you emerge back into the world, so there's no need for a full face of makeup—a little mascara (Being TRUE Hy-performance mascara), a tinted lip gloss, and a neutral shade of eyeshadow should be more than enough to look polished.
