What a week it has been. Temps finally got below 900 degrees :). My air conditioner was thinking it might just be vacation time. This week we are focusing on rotating from summer apparel to winter. We have now pulled 99 % of the summer items off the shelves in our clothing dept., and have got the winter items coming out. There is only about an 8 % return of winter styles from last year. The rest are new items this year to our clothing selection. We have more coats this year and also alot more boys clothes. We currently have a fairly large selection of womens jeans of many brands and styles. Our other store items have increased as well this week. Our shelves are stocked with new items out for viewing, and more expected to be coming in. Our retail items are now all in, and plans are already on the table to place more orders to prepare for the Christmas season this year.
We have updated our store hours for the fall winter of 2007. You will find this on the main page of my sight here on merchant circle. I am proud to introduce a new network member from Norfolk, Va. again view main page for info.
I want to thank all those in our area for helping Good's and More be what it is, and also a greater thanks to my customers who ultimately make me from the start. You guys are all a wonderful asset to us. As I close the blog this week I want to thank all those vets now and then for protecting me and this great nation. I must admitt even though I suffered alot as a vet myself in the Gulf War, if I could do it again, I feel that I would. I may not know you soldiers over there now, but if I could be by your side again I would not hesitate a minute. I know just as you what this war is, and what it means to win it, and I am not just talking the norm. I mean in regards as well to the bible, and what is to come. Just as our Lord said there is no greater of a friend than one who is willing or has laid down his life for another. We are all brothers in this battle, and the families of the soldiers as well. You are in my prayers daily. God Bless everyone, and until next time; God is still on the throne, and prayer changes things.
