As an owner operator I enjoy talking to my customers whenever possible. Many times I ask them how they found out about my tree and stump removal service, and what I here too often is that they called another tree service company who either did not call them back or did provide them an estimate and was hired to do the work, but then either did not provide a timely service or did not show up to perform the service.
I feel it is important that when a potential customer calls me and requests a quote for tree or stump removal service, that we provide them with an estimate and then if hired for the work we do it in a timely manner. Good communication with the customer is vital so they know what to expect, when you are going to show up and what the tree or stump grinding service you are going to provide entails.Also very important is if the service day or time needs to be changed that the customer is contacted in advance to reschedule because many times the customer is waiting for the tree service company to show up or has taken time off work to be there when the service is being performed. Being respectful of my customers time is very important because their time is very valuable to them.
