For years I've done business with national banks as well as Tucson Federal...TFCU is always ON IT and a pleasure to deal with. Meantime, the banks acting like...well, big banks...bank fees and on hold for half an hour, don't know you from Adam. Moved everything to Tucson Federal last month, supporting local people who know me and treat me right. Jeff in particular is my Go To guy but everyone at TFCU is upbeat and helpful. ...read more

Vantage West Credit Union-Corporate Headquarters

Sorry, but I have to disagree with any positive reviews of this bank. After recently making a large purchase our balance was low and we overdrafted in a total dollar amount less than $25. It happened over a weekend and was seen when the items cleared Monday. Rather than using a chronological method to calculate the overdraft fees they used larger deductions first and then charged five separate overdraft fees. There are currently some lawsuits out there against banks for using this practice. This never happened with PNC (a large east coast bank) or Bank of America. They were also derogatory towards me when I called to resolve the issue. I already feel bad for overdrafting, how is making me feel worse any type of customer service? The purpose of the call was to address the issue and prevent a future occurrence. Instead the teller told me I was spending Vantage West's money. Hmm, wonder where that comes from? Maybe your exorbitant fees and attempts to shame customers into thinking they deserve them. What I will be doing to changing back to "the big evil bank" who was willing to work with me the ONE time I overdrafted with them in 2 years. Sorry I ever left you Bank of America, it left me with a headache! ...read more
