Margaret DiFrank, a mitigation specialist, mocks victims of domestic violence. Often, capital punishment cases involve a defendant who is a victim of domestic violence or child abuse - and the mitigator's role is to explore the defendant's history in order to mitigate their sentence. If Ms. DiFrank, in her private life, expresses nothing but disdain towards a victim of domestic violence and child abuse, how can she properly perform her duties as a "mitigation specialist" -- let alone be compensated for her mitigation services by the taxpayers. Ms. DiFrank currently has an Injunction Against Harassment against her that is publicly available at the Pima County Superior Court. The injunction outlines Ms. DiFrank's obscenity laced rant against a victim of domestic violence, supported by emails and Facebook messages sent by Ms. DiFrank to this victim. In the injunction, Ms. DiFrank called the victim "about as damaged as they come" and "daddy’s-little-pr!@k-in-my-face damaged girl." When you select a locksmith - you are putting your valuables on the line. Ensure the locksmith company is licensed, bonded, and insured. Pay attention to the length of time the locksmith has been in business. Is the owner readily accessible to discuss your questions about their practices and training? The next best thing to do is to try finding a locksmith through the Internet or in the phone book. When looking for a locksmith on the phone book, make sure that a business address is given and confirm that the address belongs to that locksmith. Many disreputable companies list street addresses, pretending that they have a local storefront. However, these addresses may belong to other businesses or could be nothing but vacant lots or even non-existent at all. You can verify a listed street address through online services that match phone numbers with street addresses. It's best to get a local locksmith company with a storefront rather than one, which doesn't list an address because they are a ‘mobile' business. Be wary of locksmith companies who answer the phone with a generic phrase such as ‘locksmith services' instead of a company specific name. Always ask for the legal business name of the company. You should also ask if there are charges for mileage as well as fees for a service call. If a locksmith arrives but provides a price that doesn't match the estimate you got on the telephone, do not let the locksmith perform the job.
