I wholeheartedly trust University Animal Hospital (UAH) and its staff with my two dogs, Riley, an Irish Red & White Setter, and Storm, my recently adopted Siberian Husky. Since moving to Tempe in July 2014, I have dealt with four of UAH’s veterinarians and ALL have been extremely competent and totally professional.
After moving here, I “googled” all the veterinarians in the Tempe area in order to find one for Riley. I chose UAH because of the large number of veterinarians on staff, their qualifications, and the fact that UAH is open 7 days a week. It’s a good thing that I chose UAH because health-wise for Riley, it has been an extremely tough seven-month period. Without the great veterinarians at UAH, his problems would have been exacerbated. Let me explain.
Before I moved to Tempe, Riley had experienced some swelling on his snout. On some days, the swelling was pronounced, while on other days it could hardly been seen. My previous veterinarian could not identify the cause of the swelling. When it re-appeared after moving here, I took Riley to UAH. The problem was immediately identified – Riley had two deteriorating canine teeth that required root canals and crowns (he now has “bling” in is mouth).
Then in December, Riley and I were attacked by two loose pitbulls. Unfortunately, Riley got the worse in the attack. I immediately took Riley to UAH, and Dr. Naig quickly stabilized Riley and prepped him for surgery, which was successful. In all, Riley received approximately 25 stitches, and had to wear the “collar of shame” for about two weeks. I took Riley in for three follow-up visits, including removal of his stitches, which were performed at no additional cost.
I can report that Riley has recovered nicely from both issues, and he is back to his healthy and exuberant self, which I thank the staff of UAH for.
Therefore, I highly recommend UAH for your veterinarian needs. Your pets could not be in better hands
