Hi, Kim long time no see. How have you been? Well I stumbled on this website and was surprised to see your picture. I wasn't surprised at what it is and who's doing it though. You etched that in my mind back in high school. I have departed Arizona, mostly that is as I still have property up near Show Low. I moved east to North Carolina. How is all your family doing? Eric Clapton — Adopted Rock God
Eric Patrick Clapton was born on March 30, 1945 in the home of his grandparents. He was the newborn son of Patricia Molly Clapton, who was only 16-years-old at the time. Eric̢۪s father was a 24-year-old Canadian soldier named Edward Walter Fryer, stationed in England during WWII. Being unmarried, and still so young, it was extremely difficult for Patricia to raise Eric on her own. Her parents, Rose and Jack Clapp, stepped into an adopting role and raised Eric as their own. Eric Clapton grew up thinking his mother was his sister. His grandparents remained his legal guardians until 1963 when Eric turned 18 though they never legally adopted.
