I wish that I could give them ZERO starts. They lie, and lie and lie. We called and the person on the phone was very rude, like she did NOT understand why we were calling. We needed a tow, and we were told that it would be 45 min before someone got here. ( totally understandable ) We never received a confirmation, or a phone call, or even a text message ( Confirming ) We ended up waiting very patiently for over an hour and a half... (keep in mind its during the hottest part of the day 4PM) We were waiting outside (RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE CAR, because we had no where else to go, everything was far away, and then we decided to call them again to see where this tow truck was. The person that we spoke with said that the tow truck driver called and said no one was there. ( SUCH A LIE, WE WERE SITTING ON THE CURB RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE CAR THE ENTIRE TIME. ) - this is so pathetic. We had already paid for them to come out, &so they sent out another tow truck. When it's a 115° outside and your car breaks down the last thing you want to encounter is a rude person with a language barrier. I asked the driver what he needed from me, he was short, rude and rolled his eyes at me like it was my fault for asking him to do his job. I told him where in my complex that he would be able to park my car. Half hour later he was at my complex in the area where he couldn't leave me car, I asked him to move the truck to where it could be left. He kept telling me "This is the address! This is the address!" And I said yes but this is a large complex and I need you to move the car to another area. So after arguing with him for 5 minutes he finally moved my car. When I asked for a copy of the work order he refused to give it to me stating my insurance needed it, never had any other company refused to give me a copy. I called my road side assistance provider and let them know what had happened and they confirmed that I should of been given a copy of the work order and filed a complaint on my behalf. Where to start. First off, this company is completely disrespectful for their employees. During the current flood, even though DPS has called for no one to drive in the flood 2014, they were persistant on their employees working. Even the governor claimed our state as an emergency. Secondly, employees are expected to work for pennies on the dollar. $120 / day when their hours are worked well over 12 {which means it's less than $10 / hour.} Work days start at 3-4am and they work until 6-7pm. Third, commission checks are once a month but are taken out of the regular checks that they have already worked. $1,300 every two weeks is downgrading. Fourth, there has been a lot of accidents with equipment that they carry {even a death of a human being}. This company there is a serious lack of communication, respect and a lack of any sort of effort unless it benefits the owners. There is a lot of drama within this company. Perhaps they would need to change some things to be respected. I can go down the street work less hours and get paid more for my efforts that are appreciated and not ignored or placed on a back burner. What do these people think they are doing? Who do they think they are? Did they think that everyone is dumb and blind to what's going on? Out of state trips are the worst. They barely give you any per diem and rarely make sure that your weight stations are paid and that you tolls and fees are paid. This money comes out of your check.Thjere is so much more but little space to explain everything but this gives you some information about Interstate Towing. Everything about this company is at your expense not theirs. So if you feel like a guinea pig and have no dignity apply here! Worst employer that has ever came across! ...read more
