A Better Today Recovery Services was a lifesaver when I was in the darkest days of my life. I have struggled with severe depression, suicidal behavior, cocaine use and alcoholism for many years. I still remember how I uncomfortable and lonely I felt during the first two weeks I was there. They have taught me how to live a happy, addiction free life by guiding me down the road to recovery. I also made some friends during my stay. The place itself is scenic, beautiful and so peaceful. It was a great place to walk around and exercise. The program is well organized, informative, and by the end of your stay, you will have attained knowledge you could never read in a book or see in a film. Without the right attitude, no rehab or treatment center can achieve success in sobriety for you, regardless of how much money you give them. I was at an event where Treyce, the founder, was the keynote speaker. She really engages the people and helps them understand the power of handwriting and the brain connection all while laughing and having fun. After that, I was hooked on her and immediately wanted my handwriting analyzed by her. I signed up for the mini (what she called "quickies") and it was dead-on! Then I wanted the full personality profile and that was dead-on. When she mentioned that results went back to age 3 (I am 57 now), I couldn't believe how powerful handwriting really must be but, when I saw my results, I could see these childhood related issues. I am not about to sign up for her Handwriting Formation Therapy program and am very excited. She doesn't yet have a clinic in my location but, when she told me that it could be completed with one of her trained therapists 100% electronically, I jumped on it. Valley Hope Alcohol & Drug Treatment Centers

It has been almost 10 years since I was at Valey Hope in my area. I wasso intimidated, so afraid to face anyone, and not able to share anything about myself until I had been there one or two times! Everyone there was open and upbeat, happy and hopeful. I never felt judged or "less than". After relapsing a couple time, my teen aged kids were protective of their own hearts and basically wrote me off, figuring my life was done and I was horrible. It will be 11 years sober soon, but I still do not have the respect or love that I had when they were younger. It is painful because I know they cannot possible understand the agony I have been in for so long. The road was long and bumpy yet I put a smile on my face and functioned just fine--til I fell apart. I pray that one day they will remember all the good times we had, and let me into their hearts again. My kids mean more to me than my own ife.Sure, I am glad to be sober, I need love too, though. And respect. I paid a high price for a few fleeting moments of NOTHING MEANINGFULL. My God, if I could scream that from the rooftops--don't do it--u will lose everything in the end-and some things are worse than dying. Stay sober, smell the flowers, look at the sky.
