Never Ever Ever take a bird to Fallen Feathers!!!!!!! I found a baby quail in my front yard on Sunday morning with a broken wing. I did do a Google search on who I could take the bird to on a Sunday and Fallen Feathers c/o Jody Kieran's name came up. I did call her and she had said I could bring the bird over. Jody lives in Peoria and runs this rescue business out of her house. I should have now by looking at the house not to have left the bird with her. This is a unbelievable place 9532 W. Cielo Grande Peoria, AZ 85383. She is a hoarder and the house is filthy dirty. She has so many bird and so much going on that she cant take care of all those animals. She counts on people to volunteers and donate money to pay her mortgage and who knows what ever else!!!!!!!!. In her dining room she has tables set up with tons on baby birds in container chirpings for food and are hungry. I must have see at least 7 or 8 dead birds in those container with the other birds that were still alive in the same container. I'm sure they died do to starvation. I had ask her why there was so many dead birds and she said that she had been very busy all day and hadn't had time to clean up WOW. She also has a hawk and two owls in cages out side her arcadia window in the kitchen and there were fly's all over them and also all over the dead rats that were throng in the cage for the owls. I also heard her tell a young girl that was volunteering on Sunday that she needed to give the ducks water that were in the back yard because they haven't had water in two days. I was also told by her helper that day that if I thought that way bad by seeing all the dead birds in those container that Jody's garage was full of dead birds. This is a HORRIBLE place to take a bird to not to mention its filthy dirty and she has a hoarding problem. Please reconsider taking any birds to Fallen Feathers!!!!
