I loved the class personally. I had so much fun learning and studying. It was an amazing experience.
I did not like how Simone and everyone else was so rude and did not care about our class at all. We had a smaller class than the usual classes and they seemed like we were nothing just because they didn't make a lot of money on this class.
Simone just threw us into externships she didn't give us options or care about where we lived. All the other classes she tried to put them into places relatively close to their home.
When we graduated she just threw our certificates at us and that was it.
The front staff through out the whole 5 weeks were DUMB! Seriously! They never gave you the correct information, they knew NOTHING! They were rude and would talk bad about other students in front of everyone. They always took forever to get back to you about any information you had. When you enroll they don't tell you what you need to hand in or anything until a week before externship their threatening to not send you out on externship unless you have things turned in that you had no idea you had to turn in.
I handed in all my immunization records and they didn't get all that stuff straightened out the whole time I was there. They kept saying I didn't turn it in. I made one of the dumb receptionists pull my file out and she was just like , "ohhhhh its all right here"....
The E learning is a dang NIGHTMARE!! They always add and delete and change everything and keep saying your e learning is not complete
Most schools help you find a job , but this school only cares about the CNA's. There is a wall full of new cna openings and they post cna job openings on their fb page but NOTHING about phlebotomists.
And after your done with school and if you need to contact the school they pretend like they dont even know you and you don't matter at ALL
They say theyve been the number 1 phlebotomy school for 2 years??? Well everytime I went into a interview they said they've never heard of AMTI before lol
Wasn't impressed.... really.....
http://www.azmtistudentcomplaints.com/

I was enrolled to start their weekend CNA program. I am already a phlebotomist and work at a lab and my schedule did not permit me to go through with the program which I was only going to complete to get into a LPN program that required you be a CNA first. I contacted student services within two days of receiving the enrollment packet and nobody got back to me until the next day. I asked for a refund for the 255.00 down payment tuition and was told that I would only get 55.00 back because I had to contacted them within three business days to get the full amount back. I wasn't aware that THEY count Saturday Sunday Christmas Eve and Christmas as business days. It's a bunch of BS, that school and I would not recommend you go there unless you want to get scammed out of your money. It's not even a REAL school. It's mostly elearning. I would much rather spend the money to take a longer course and get more training at a school like Brookline College or Pima Medical Institute. ...read more
