I am the General Manager of American Liberty Transportation addressing the previous review written by an anonymous person stating our "Drivers" are driving around under the influence. ALL of our drivers have to submit to mandatory drug screening, inclusive background searches before they are even allowed to drive for our company. The person who made this statement via internet has been found to be a boyfriend of an employees ex wife. We found this out after an investigation. This person was found to be upset because the ex wife was now residing temporarily with her ex husband, (our employee)It is a sad day when people try to harm a company's reputation due to their own personal relationships and statuses. Perhaps if there was another business that offers the same product...go with your gut feeling. So we tried to make it the best trip we could....didn't get to far. Ray the owner is completely a scam artist and tells you what you want to hear. Ray charges are over priced and the service was terrible from when we got on the bus to the end of the trip. Noticed Ray has been arounnd the bus at stops, collect money and bail. Promises upgrades in the bus and then doesn't follow through.Booked this bus for my daughter's homecoming this past month. There was water but it was warm, the air condiioner was warm, the driver was hasty, the speakers on the bus were blown, no cd palyer, i pod or tv as promised. There was no hostess like promised until the bus picked her up at a local gas station. Are you kidding me? So we finally got to the high school and we were sweaty and hot...no pictures because the guys and the girls looked like wet seals dressed up.On the way back, the bus ran out of gas so we needed to stop. All of our belongings ended up in a truck of someones car. The bus was not cleaned up and beer bottles and wine bottles were all over. We even noticed popcorn kernals on the seats and floor. REALLY??When we arrived back to our home, we have contacted Ray, the owner....no answer for a week. Then when he returns his phone calls he played like he didn't know who we were, made excuses and excuses not to refund our money and told us that he would report us to the authorities for fraud. No contact, no money, nothing. Poor service and business ship from Ray and the business.Bottom line... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! This is not a business man you want to deal with. It has come to our attention that a certain few drivers are under the influence of dangerous narcotics on a daily level! We are speaking lightly at this point attempting to get the attention of someone who has the companies authority and good common sense to take this matter very seriously and either bring this issue to the correct person who can make changes to the well being of there drivers. My son booked a party bus for prom and was told he was getting a bus that had $200,000 worth of upgrades, video, cd player, ipod hookups, & marble floor. The bus that picked up the kids up did not have a marble floor, the cd player didn't work, the video screens were blank, Ipod hook up was only a jack (no hookup cord), speakers were blown out and the air conditioning blew out hot air. My son has called Ray 7 times this week, never receiving a call back. The only time he has talked to Ray is when Ray happened to answer the phone.
