These people are very shady and run a disorganized, extremely questionable "business." Most of the items at their sales are not priced and they refuse to give you a price per item. Instead he says he will only do "bulk pricing." If you ask "how much is this item by itself" he says I will give you a bulk price only. At least half of the household items were still wrapped and packed in boxes. Were they too lazy to take the items out and price them? Matching product-place-price for my clients
As an online marketing expert, I strive to match my clients' items to sell with the correct sales venue. From my marketing classes during my MBA years, I will always remember the phrase "Product - Place - Price". The client provides the product, and usually the price. I can help find the right place.For a recent client, the place wasn't eBay or Craigslist, it was etsy.com. Etsy is a marketplace for handcrafted, artistic, or vintage items and craft supplies. My client, a retired welder, has a garage full of items he's handcrafted. He's had limited success with craft shows, and thought he might try eBay. Unfortunately, eBay is not really the best place for unique items that customers cannot touch and feel. Etsy's shoppers are looking for 'unique', and combined with Etsy's low commission rate and listing fee, we are trying it out.
