9/5/08 I'm back, Thought I would list a few more services a Virtural Assistant could offer you.....Remember, a Virtural Assistant uses his/her own equipment, does not take up office space, and you do not have to pay for insurance, unemployment, etc. etc. What a Virtual Assistant can do is free up your time so that you can do what you do best....grow your business! We can do General Accounting, make travel arrangements for you, set up meetings, answer your phone and emails....all this and more to eliminate worry and time to be better spent by you. Your personal Virtual Assistant is just waiting for your call to help you out. Teri Champine, Your Personal Virtual Assistant pine1234@gmail.com 8-22-08 Hello Again, Update --- In my earlier Blog I mentioned that there is software (for a fee) that connects my desktop to the Client's (it must be on both computers). Well, I just found out that Microsoft is offering "Microsoft Office Live Workspace" FREE!!!!! I downloaded it on my computer to become familiar with it. I'm not sure if the Client has to have it on their computer, but it makes sense that they should. With Office Live Workspace, the Client and myself can both work on a document at the same time, I can calendar his/her appointments, etc. I am sure it works the same as the software you pay a monthly fee for. Some Services I offer: Typing, Data Entry, Administrative, Secretarial, Internet Research just to name a few. 'till next time, Teri Champine, Your Personal Virtual Assistant pine1234@gmail.com Hello Everyone, Thought I would start a blog on VA's (Virtual Assistant). Also, I am in the process of doing a website....only problem is, I'm having a hard time uploading it with my IP. Frontier does not agree with Microsoft Publisher....Bummer! It was so easy to do in Publisher. I don't have the $ to go to a web builder or even purchase a Domain. So, until I reformat my Publisher document into one that I can upload to Frontier (spent 3 days trying to upload it), this will have to do to get the word out. Virtual Assistant - Who Knew! With computers now-adays, you can do just about anything! The VA (Virtual Assistant) can be next door, next state, or even international. He/She can answer your phone, letters, emails, etc ., even do your bookkeeping. "With today’s communications, projects can be accomplished without ever having to meet the Client face-to-face. Because of the Internet, projects can be sent to a VA via Fax, Email, Tape or CD." There are even software's that can interface with your computer (both VA and Client must have, for a fee). Contracting out to a VA CAN benefit many...Researchers, Students, Business's with limited resources, Doctors, Dentists, Writers, etc. We use our own equipment and software. We only charge for the time involved to complete a project. The Client does not have to; recruit, hire, train, setup space, add equipment, pay for benefits, etc. With a VA, the Client can do what he/she does best....delivering high value and service to the customer. Outsourcing to a VA lets you get on with the important details of your business—like business meetings or recruiting new Clients! The VA only works when needed and the Client only pays for what he/she needs! 'nuff for now...next week I'll list some of the Services offered.
